TechMarcom And Read-Poland Form New Strategic Alliance
Offering Affordable PR To Tech Start-Ups

November 30, 1999, Austin, TX and Westford, MA- Texas based Read-Poland Associates and TechMarcom in suburban Boston have agreed to team up on an as-needed basis to serve tech start-ups and new dot-coms with limited budgets.

As PR firms increasingly consolidate into mega-agencies or splinter into specialty firms, fledgling start-ups often cannot afford big agency retainers, but are not completely served by specialists. The alliance of Read-Poland and TechMarcom can provide a broad range of services and media representation to all their respective clients in Texas and the Northeast.

Texas companies will get local, personalized attention, general PR and public affairs services from one of the oldest and best connected firms in the state as well as crucial representation to analysts, venture capitalists, and trade publications in the Northeast. Northeastern clients will receive PR and marketing counsel from experienced, specialized professionals as well as amplified general PR, strong public affairs counsel and a new channel of access to the Texas market of potential business customers.
