Jon Boroshok's public relations and marketing communications skills and expertise have produced tangible results for companies in the wireless, voice recognition, consumer electronics, e-commerce, healthcare, life science, electronic signature, software, hardware, and consumer products, and hospitality industries.


Boroshok is a full-time Instructor in Communication and Newspaper Adviser at Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester, NH. His courses include Journalism, Mass Comm., Public Relations, PR Writing, PR Campaign Planning, Public Speaking, and Social Media. He also founded a campus chapter of PRSSA, the first one in the state of New Hampshire.


He has been listed as one of the "Top Marketing Professors on Twitter" by Social Media Marketing Magazine each month from December 2010 through December 2014 (surprisingly the most recent ranking).


Boroshok works directly as the key client and media contact on all TechMarcom accounts. He is often assisted by a focused team of senior professionals to produce highly effective, cost-efficient results. TechMarcom has produced results for public corporations and startups including, Cognos, Parametric Technologies Corp. (PTC), NatWest Bank, Bonita Software, GeePS, Inc., Netspoke, MobileWise, Angstrom Microsystems, Bloodhound Medical Software, Omtool, Ltd., SoftLock.com, Tyco Simplex-Grinnell, Monster.com, and The Kryptonite Corp.


His recent biotech and life sciences public relations work includes launching HairDX, the first genetic tests for male or female baldness (Androgenetic Alopecia) and Finasteride response, and ghost writing material for Massachusetts General Hospital's MGH Institute of Health Professions. He has also written press releases and produced media coverage for InstyMeds, the healthcare industry’s first fully automated ATM-style dispenser of prescription medications.

Before starting TechMarcom, Boroshok served as senior marketing communications manager for Lernout & Hauspie Speech Products, USA Inc. (L&H), a global leader in speech and language technologies. Boroshok developed, managed, and implemented marketing communications plans that launched new voice recognition software, and created new collateral materials, including product brochures, packaging, datasheets, review guides, direct mail pieces and ads. He worked directly with VARS/resellers, senior marketing and sales management to increase corporate/product visibility and revenues.


Prior to L&H, Boroshok was a senior public relations specialist for Sybase, Inc. While with Sybase, he successfully launched two new development tools for enterprise Internet applications. Boroshok developed, managed, and implemented public relations plans, worked with product directors and helped manage Sybase's PR agency to ensure media coverage.


Boroshok has an extensive PR agency background. He served as senior account executive on the PSINet, AT&T, and Monster.com accounts at Poppe Tyson (a Bozell Sawyer Miller Group Company). As an account executive for Technology Solutions, Inc. (TSI), a New York City high-tech PR agency, Boroshok worked on the Sony Consumer Products account. He also brings several years of newspaper advertising and writing experience.


An accomplished strategist and journalist/writer, Boroshok's articles and columns have appeared in The Boston Globe, The Christian Science Monitor, Newsweek, Crain Communications, Primedia Business Magazines, TechLiving Magazine, ZDNet, CMP Publications, East Bay Business Times, Mass High Tech, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, DM News, PRWeek, and more. He has also "ghost-written" articles and white papers on behalf of company executives.

He served as an Adjunct Instructor of graduate and undergraduate marketing communications and public relations courses at Emerson College in Boston (2002-present), and Bentley University in Waltham, MA (2004-2011). Boroshok received the Bentley University Curricular Service-Learning Faculty Award for 2009, and was appointed as Faculty Advisor to the Emerson College chapter of PRSSA.


He earned his BS in communications from Emerson College and an MBA in marketing from Northeastern University.
